Esautomotion at Bumatech in Bursa. A season of great trade fair events is coming to an end.

Esautomotion did not want to miss the appointment of Bumatech (Bursa Machine Technologies Fairs), the most important fair in the Middle East for the machining industry, held from 14 to 17 December in the Turkish city of Bursa.

The 2022 edition covered an area of 40 thousand square meters with the participation of over 350 companies and more than 36,000 visitors from 67 countries in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe.

“With our presence at Bumatech, we closed the triptych of the most important exhibitions of 2022” – commented Andrea Senzolo, Global Sales Manager of Esautomotion – “In just over two months we have been to Euroblech in Hanover, Fabtech in Atlanta and, last but not least, Bumatech. It was a considerable effort for our technical/commercial team, but it was really worth it”.

“At Bumatech we found an atmosphere of great appreciation for our brand. Thanks to the excellent work of the current importer, SLM, Esautomotion enjoys high notoriety and reputation among the Turkish OEMs, all present at the event. We took the opportunity to present the new ViS800 CNC line, which was received with great interest for its performance and GlassOnly Full Touch screens. Excellent acceptance also for the new ESA 5-axis cutting head in the fiber laser and plasma versions, by far the most widespread technologies in that country. The fact that it is produced in Turkey makes it even more interesting, as entrepreneurs tend to favor local products”.

The Turkish market: a central role in Esautomotion’s strategies.

“Of all the emerging markets, the Turkish one has the greatest growth potential, hence our decision to open a direct branch, which will be operational from the beginning of 2023” – underlines Senzolo – “It is a typically CNC market and rapidly evolution. Here, as in Europe, the so-called reshoring is taking place, i.e. the return of many supply chains from China. Covid and the ongoing international tensions have made many European companies realize how risky it is to have suppliers of strategic systems and components thousands of km away from their plants. It is clear that Turkey is taking particular advantage of this situation, thanks to its proximity to Europe. Local OEMs compete in the medium-price segment: historically they have used Chinese CNCs but now they intend to move towards more advanced and reliable European-made ones. Esautomotion CNCs are the perfect solution for them: technologically advanced and supported by the efficiency of the technical assistance service, thanks to the on-site presence of one of our technicians detached from Esautomotion HQ. The Turkish case-history represents a successful business model for Esautomotion, which we intend to replicate also in other emerging markets where the conditions exist”.
