Five families of cards
for all possible application needs

Thanks to the know-how acquired over the years,
Esautomotion offers a complete line with dozens
of optional boards capable of satisfying not only
the transversal needs of all applications but also
the most specific for each operational and technological area.

The boards use the optical fiber (I / O link)
or the Ethercat protocol as main connection bus.

The main ranges available are:

  • General purpose boards with fiber optic I / O Link connection
    (connectable to all VIS-600 and 800 CNCs, for all applications)

  • Plasma cutting application boards with fiber optic I / O Link connection
    (connectable to all VIS-600 and 800 CNCs)

  • General purpose boards with Ethercat connection
    (connectable to all VIS-600 and 800 CNCs, for all applications)

  • Rack Mounted boardsfor all applications
    (only connectable to CNC Rack S500)

  • Rack Mounted boards for laser cutting application
    (connectable only to CNC Rack S500)

General purpose boards
with fiber optic I / O Link connection
(connectable to all VIS-600 and 800 CNCs, for all applications)

  • BRD.021.405: board for adding two analog axes to the system.
    Max frequency encoder counting 200KHz.
    Output with 11 bit + sign resolution. 5Vdc power supply.
  • BRD.007.450: board for adding 16 digital inputs + 16 digital outputs to the system.
    Inputs with 10 msec HW filter. 1A protected outputs.
  • BRD.019.461: console remote control board capable of managing:
    16 24Vdc digital inputs, 8 24Vdc digital outputs, 3 0-10V 12 bit analog inputs, 1 0-5V differential line driver encoder

The following boards
must be combined with the BRD.019.025 node:

  • BRD.007.454: board for adding
    16 24Vdc digital outputs to the system,
    protected against short and overload, 1A max
  • BRD.007.458: board for adding
    16 24Vdc digital inputs to the system,
    protected against inversion, with 10 msec HW filter
  • BRD.018.401: board for adding
    8 analog inputs to the system, configurable in voltage / current,
    resolution 12 bit, + 10Vdc, 40mA for sensor power supply, max refresh rate 5KHz
  • BRD.018.402: board for adding to the system
    of 8 optoisolated analog outputs +/- 10V,
    Resolution 15 bit + sign, Max refresh rate per channel 6.5 KHz

Plasma cutting application boards
with fiber optic I / O Link connection
(connectable to all VIS-600 and 800 CNCs)

  • BRD.007.435: this board, dedicated to plasma cutting,
    connects the plasma cutting generator with the CNC,
    to guarantee the correct exchange of information between
    the two devices and manage the arc voltage,
    the cutting height between torch and material and any alarms.

The card consists of:

  • 1 0-400Vdc high voltage input 12 bit resolution
  • 3 digital inputs 24V PNP
  • 1 Probe input for probing functions
  • 4 relay outputs 220 Vdc / 250 Vac – 60W
  • 1 external high voltage relay output

General purpose boards
with Ethercat connection
(connectable to all VIS-600
and 800 CNCs, for all applications)

  • BRD.007.452: board for adding 16 digital inputs
    + 16 digital outputs to the system.
    The inputs are PNP optoisolated
    24Vdc and the outputs are optoisolated 24Vdc – 0.7A
  • BRD.007.453: board for adding 16 inputs
    + 16 digital outputs + 1 analog input to the system.
    The inputs are PNP optoisolated 24Vdc
    and the outputs are optoisolated 24Vdc – 1.2A.
    The analog input is 0-5V 12 bit resolution.
    This module has IP67 degree of protection
  • BRD.018.501: board for adding 8 analog inputs
    and 8 analog outputs to the system.
    The inputs are configurable in voltage / current, 12 bit resolution,
    + 10Vdc, 40mA for sensor power supply, max refresh rate 5KHz.
    The outputs are optically isolated +/- 10V,
    Resolution 15 bit + sign, Max refresh rate per channel 6.5 KHz
  • BRD.019.462: board for remote control
    of 32 optoisolated PNP inputs 24Vdc + 32 optoisolated
    PNP outputs 24Vdc – 1.2 A + 8 analog inputs
    0-5V resolution 12 bit + 1 input from 5V differential encoder.

Rack Mounted boardsfor
all applications
(only connectable to CNC Rack S500)

BRD.021.461: board for adding 4 analog axes to the system.

  • 4 fast counting circuits / maximum frequency 2MHz) for 0-5Vdc Line Drive differential encoders. Direct power supply of the encoders (max 200mA per channel) is provided exclusively at 5Vdc. The interruption of the cable and any transducer alarm are detected and signaled.
  • 4 analog outputs ± 10V with resolution 15 bit + sign
  • 4 digital inputs for the zero micros
  • 4 inputs for instantaneous storage of the axis coordinates (touch probe); the active edge can be set.
  • Max two boards for each rack

BRD.007.461: board for adding 32 + 32 digital inputs and outputs to the system
The inputs and outputs are located on 4 removable terminal blocks 3.5 mm pitch.
Input features: Optoisolated – working range 20 ÷ 28Vdc – HW10ms filter. Features
Output: 0,7A max – working range 20 ÷ 28Vdc thermally protected against overload and short circuit.

Rack Mounted boards
for laser cutting application
(connectable only to CNC Rack S500,)

BRD.019.473: board for the management
of laser cutting generators is used for adjusting the cutting power.

The card interfaces with the laser generator through the following outputs:

  • 1 PWM 5 / 24Vdc push pull output, 10Khz / 5V Line Driver 50KHz
  • 1 push-pull FLYCUT output
  • 1 analog output 0’10V resolution 12Bit
