Angle
measurement systems.

Fast and immediately precise bends,
for an unrivalled level of efficiency and productivity.

Bending is one of the most widespread sheet metal processes but also one of greater complexity, because it requires maximum precision and consistency of results, even in the presence of totally different materials such as steel, copper, brass and other laminates.

Often several tests are necessary before arriving at the required bend angle, with significant losses of time and waste of materials.

To definitively solve this problem, Esautomotion’s ViS-800W series CNCs are now compatible and 100% integrated with the most popular angle gauge models.

Bending designed in Esautomotion, displayed in real time.

The ViS-850 CNC software has been redesigned by Esautomotion engineers to be able to manage the best sensors and optical systems for measuring the lean angle.

Applied to the bending machine and moving along a track, the sensors are capable of:

  • Positioning of the sensor at the required point of the piece, acquiring a series of images measure a series of parameters, such as effective lean angle and contact pressure return the information to the machine’s Esautomotion CNC in real time

The CNC will then calculate the springback and the necessary correction, transmitting it immediately to the bending machine.

Thanks to the Esautomotion CNC interface, the bending machine operator will be able to decide each time which bends to activate the visual control on, checking the actual precision of the bend on the video.

Perfect integration with the best brands of optical devices.

The Esautomotion CNC software has been redesigned to be able to communicate with the best visual systems available today:

The advantages of the Esautomotion lean angle measurement system.

  • Possibility of using the best and most popular optical devices
  • Precise calculation of the actual, not just theoretical or manual, size of the fold for an optimal result from the first fold
  • Time and materials saving up to 50% when compared to conventional methods
  • Outstanding precision, in the order of fractions of a degree
  • Accurate results with every type of material and minimal edges
  • Simple and intuitive programming, accessible even to less experienced operators
  • Repeatable processes without operator intervention
  • Possibility of memorizing the springback of sheets and materials and creating time series, thanks to the self-learning function of the software algorithm
