Esautomotion’s Esa 4to5 suite uses a consumption detector and Data Logger software, developed in collaboration with RemSoft, to measure the energy consumed by a machinery or a plant (or a part of it) and save the data in a database for further analysis.

Being 5.0 with Esa 4to5 is really simple.
Esa 4to5 is made up of:

“Plug&play” EnergyMeter for measuring consumption.
Installed on new or already operational machines, it guarantees an easy and quick connection thanks to the use of 4 independent sensors with an RJ12 connector for reading the current. They can be wired without modifying the electrical system. The data detected by the sensors are read by the control unit via TCP/IP protocol and stored to allow consultation at any time.
This software collects the production and consumption data of each machine in real time, converting them into an exportable format readable by external software.
With Esa 4to5 you can check the trend of energy consumption with any mobile device at any time, even remotely, and intervene immediately in the event of anomalies (NB: optional Smart Tracer package required).

Thanks to the exchange of data via Ethernet, Esa 4to5 can manage both standard configurations
(energy consumption detection only) and more complex ones, being able to acquire and save production data on a PC
or server, according to the present scheme:
1. Energy consumption data collection only: EnergyMeter + Data Logger
This architecture, which can be certified as Industry 5.0, does not allow the collection of production data, so only communication between the Data Logger and EnergyMeter will be active, with the possibility of saving the data on a company’s server or on a PC.

2. Collection of energy consumption and production data
This architectural solution also provides for the collection of production data via connection of the Data Logger with the Esautomotion CNC of the machine, thus satisfying the requirements of both Industry 4.0 and 5.0.
Two configurations are available:


NB: the machinery on which you want to install the system must be connected to a PC (the same supplied with the machinery, if present) on which to install the Data Logger.
If you are already using EsaFour4 suite by Esautomotion, entering Industry 5.0 is even easier.
If the Data Logger app from the EsaFour4 suite is already installed on your machines, you will simply need to purchase the Esa 4to5 EnergyMeter to collect energy consumption data and thus be Industry 5.0 certifiable. Simple, isn’t it?
