Esautomotion integrates its supply chain with the acquisition of Sangalli, a leading company in the production of electric motors.
Esautomotion has officially announced the acquisition of Sangalli srl, a historical company in the production, sale, import/export of electric motors.
Active in the market since 1957, Sangalli today has two production units for approx. 3,000 square meters in total and 49 employees. Its portfolio includes a complete line of motors and drives, such as:
- brushless servomotors for industrial automation, robotics and machine tools;
- high-efficiency engines and generators with low consumption for use in the field of renewable sources and light traction;
- direct drive solutions for torque motors both at low speeds (torque motors) and at high speeds (spindle motors);
- a wide range of accessories for servomotors suitable for every sector and industrial application.
This is the first ever acquisition for Esautomotion, an important step in the group’s new growth and diversification strategy.
“This moment represents an important leap in quality and refinement of our commercial and marketing strategies, necessary to adapt them to the international dimension reached” – highlights Andrea Senzolo, General Manager of Esautomotion – “We are going to add to our catalog a series of special motors for high energy performance and low environmental impact, accelerating our penetration in the automation segment of “green”, hybrid and electric machines, thus increasing the share of sales of “full package” products (CNC + motors + drives + networking + accessories). In this way we count on acquiring new national and international customers and developing new highly innovative and rapidly growing opportunities in the world of automation: electric-powered short-range mobility (scooters, small boats), wind power, automation of moving machines (agriculture )”.
“The incorporation of the Sangalli business is a further evolution and acceleration of the growth process of Esautomotion” – declares Gianni Senzolo, Chief Executive Officer of Esautomotion – The latest generation CNCs, such as our ViS-600 and ViS-800, require motors increasingly sophisticated and high-performing electrical systems, often specifically designed for a specific application. Sangalli’s know-how will allow us to offer our customers a series of technologically innovative products with high added value, significantly differentiating ourselves from the plethora of Asian low-price products”.
Massimo Sangalli, president of the Sangalli group, in turn adds: “I am enthusiastic about fully joining the Esautomotion Group, with which we have collaborated assiduously and profitably for 15 years. The continuous and pressing request for highly performing engines suitable for extreme working conditions coming from our historical customer and friend Gianni Senzolo (CEO of Esautomotion) has been a stimulus for us to progress in technology, quality standards and in terms of efficiency, improving our competitiveness against Asian market leaders and competitors. Joining the Esautomotion Group will allow us to further expand our production capacity, moving from prototype lots to industrial lots even in the most potential niches, alongside those already well developed with Esautomotion”.
