Esautomotion China at CIIF Shanghai 2024. New launches to consolidate growth.
Esautomotion will be present with its own booth at the 2024 edition of the CIIF (China International Industry Fair), which will be held in Shanghai from 24 to 28 September 2024.
The CIIF is by far the reference trade fair event in China for the manufacturing industry. Since its launch in 1999, the CIIF has seen a constant increase in attendance: 203,000 visitors and 3,000 exhibitors in 2023, many of them from abroad.
This edition will open on an unprecedented scenario. The Chinese economy, after decades of overwhelming “double-digit” growth, has entered a phase of stagnation, with an increase of “only” 5% in 2024/2023, according to official estimates. Among the main causes are the crisis in the real estate market and the decline in personal consumption, associated with a significant slowdown in retail sales with weak recovery prospects in the short term.
“Since Esautomotion China has existed, we have not missed a single CIIF – Paolo Borelli, head of Esautomotion China, says – “This year we are aware of the less than exciting moment for the local economy but we remain optimistic. Positive signals come from the data of Chinese industrial production, which highlights an acceleration of the manufacturing sector pushed by the aids of the government and the central bank to various industrial sectors”
A new CNC to enter segments with great potential.
“According to the logic of “Think global, act local”, which has always guided Esautomotion strategies, we have not sat idly by but have taken advantage of the relative calm to develop and fine-tune a new product specifically for China, which will be previewed at the CIIF” – Borelli comments:
ViS 840R (Remote). Mid-range CNC featuring a 15” GlassOnly screen, completely comparable to that of a top-of-the-range tablet, and remote connection to the CNC inserted in the control rack via 2 simple cables. This solution brings tangible advantages for OEMs in terms of speed of installation on machines and maintenance compared to the traditional screen+CNC model on the back, typical of this range of numerical controls: in fact, the time required for the passage of the cables necessary to connect the CNC to the machine is eliminated.
“The Chinese market has given us great satisfaction in the past years for its size and its exceptional growth rates” – Andrea Senzolo, General Manager of Esautomotion, underlines – “This slowdown was widely expected and did not catch us unprepared. While waiting for the recovery, with the new ViS 840R CNC we are meeting the strong demand for CNC at a low price, currently a monopoly of local products. It’s a control with an excellent quality/price ratio, which fully exploit Esautomotion’s technological know-how offering very respectable performance, far superior to those of Made in China controls. CIIF 2024 is the perfect showcase to present it and collect important orders right away”.
