Esautomotion announces EsaCAM, the first proprietary CAD/CAM for the ViS-800 CNCs.
Esautomotion further enriches its sheet metal cutting portfolio with EsaCAM, the new CAD/CAM for laser technology machines, designed to be integrated into the ViS-860W, 875W, and 890W CNCs.
This solution offers significant benefits for workshop workflow management:
- Being installed directly inside the CNC, it allows final adjustments and calibrations to be made directly on the machine, avoiding additional steps with the Technical Office. This results in a substantial reduction in processing times and increased overall efficiency and profitability.
- The CNC interface has been completely redesigned to also include the key CAD/CAM parameters. This leads to a remarkable simplification of the operator’s work, who no longer needs to switch between different screens to view and set CNC and CAD/CAM configurations.
- Elimination of downtime, as EsaCAM can be programmed without stopping the laser machine, unlike what normally occurs with external software.
- Perfect integration between EsaCAM and the ViS-800 CNCs, both developed by Esautomotion, ensuring absolute cutting precision and minimized processing times.
“The launch of EsaCAM is an important step in our strategy of diversification and expansion of the Esautomotion catalog,” highlights Simone Lucci, R&D Vice Director at Esautomotion. “Today we can offer customers a complete package, from CAD/CAM all the way to the motors, with all the advantages in terms of product compatibility and integration.”
“With this move, we significantly improve our competitiveness against Chinese manufacturers who, due to stagnation in their domestic market, are aggressively seeking new opportunities abroad,” adds Andrea Senzolo, General Manager at Esautomotion. “The offering of CAD/CAM incorporated into the CNC is very common in their systems and is gaining traction in South American markets and the USA, while in Europe interest is still rather lukewarm.”
“The feedback we are receiving from our local distributors is extremely positive, as the Esautomotion brand represents a key value in terms of credibility, image, and product quality, capable of outperforming Chinese competitors,” Senzolo notes. “We do not rule out extending the EsaCAM offering beyond the sheet metal processing sector in the future, to enter new market segments.”
