2021: Esautomotion sales fly high above market uncertainties.

Esautomotion has made official the figures for the closing of the financial statements as at 31 December 2021. These are exceptional numbers, with an increase in turnover that exceeds 50%.

“We are obviously enthusiastic about the numbers for 2021, which record a substantial increase in turnover and profitability compared to 2020” – says Andrea Senzolo, Commercial Director of Esautomotion – “In a context that is complex and uncertain in terms of procurement of components electronic, thanks to our flexibility and reactivity, we have been able to guarantee more or less total fulfillment of orders received. I have to sincerely thank our collaborators who, from first to last, have done their utmost to find solutions, sometimes “creative”, to ensure an excellent standard of service to all customers. “

Results that come from precise strategies.

“We are reaping the benefits of a series of strategic choices made in 2019-20, therefore before the arrival of the pandemic” – adds Senzolo – “In our analyzes, two well-defined trends emerged that would have characterized the years to come:

  • future need for machine tools based on the replacement (and not on the expansion) of the existing stock to increase production automation and, therefore, the level of efficiency and margins in the plant;
  • increase in the demand for medium-priced advanced CNCs from emerging countries, in order to be able to export to industrialized countries;

“Based on these assessments, we have intensified our investments in R&D to improve the offer and performance of top-of-the-range products, especially in the most strategic applications for us: Sheet Metal, Laser, Marble. On the other hand, we have sought areas of efficiency and containment of production costs in order to be able to compete successfully in the fierce mid-price segment, especially against Asian competitors. “

“The favorable economic situation, which began at the end of 2020 and continued throughout 2021, saw us ready to take advantage of the strong growth in demand coming from most of the world markets and diversified according to the above. Despite the difficulties in product availability, we have increased sales volumes both with historical customers and with more recent ones in advanced markets, managing to acquire important sales even in more price-sensitive markets such as China and Turkey “

Optimistic forecasts for 2022

“Our prospects remain very positive throughout 2022, as OEMs have to dispose of the high backlog from the previous year. However, we are gearing up to support our growth rate when the market boom has subsided or slowed down ”- Senzolo underlines.

“Strengthening the commercial structure, both numerically and geographically, will be a priority to allow us to take advantage of every opportunity on a global scale” – highlights Senzolo – “There have been new entries in the Sales team at the headquarters level while investments in personnel continue technician to optimize the US branch. Furthermore, the official announcement of the establishment of Esautomotion Turkey, our direct branch in Turkey, one of the most important emerging markets, is these days “. “In 2022 we will restore the centrality of product innovations, for which an anticipation has already taken place in 2021: I am referring to Esa SmartTracer, the app that remotely controls the production data of a machine managed by one of our CNCs, 24/7, or the Smart Bending Assistant, the special smartwatch that recognizes the voice commands of an operator and transmits them to the Esautomotion CNC of a bending machine. ” “We will also participate in the most important trade fairs of the year: Lamiera 2022, in Milan in May, and Euroblech in Hannover in October.

Innovation: a strategic factor for growth and sustainability.

“In my institutional role, I find myself the contact person for shareholders and investors” – declares Franco Fontana, president of Esautomotion – “Obviously the results of 2021 have been very satisfying for them, with a double digit increase in profitability. It is obvious that their interest is that this trend lasts as long as possible “.

“To achieve this goal, the commitment made is to further increase investments in R&D, which are the heart of a hi-tech company like Esautomotion. In 2021 they grew by 30% compared to the previous year “- adds Fontana -” The development of software and integrated devices continued according to the principles of Industry 4.0, consolidating the performance of products in new application sectors. I would like to emphasize our growing attention to the issue of energy saving and environmental impact. We have introduced a new electric motor for press brakes to replace the traditional hydraulic one, achieving significant savings on the energy bill. In fact, it is activated only for the time strictly necessary for the movement of the axes, unlike the hydraulic motor, which is always active and running. Passion, competence and innovation: this is our DNA and it will be our compass to guide us in the future in the market and reach ever more ambitious goals “.
